Adventures Weeks 2-4

Once again life has been full of adventures for the past two weeks! Another photo heavy post - but all we really care about is this cutie anyway, right? :)

We had lots of visitors in the past few weeks - Fischer met Uncle Luke & Aunt Lacie for the first time - Uncle Luke says you guys are already best friends.

Pops & Mimi also came to visit - along with Aunt Ashley & Uncle Eric.  We had BIG adventures that weekend, as we celebrated Andy's birthday together.  It was really the first time we kept the little man out and about consistently - we went out to meals, the botanical gardens, and even the sixth floor museum in Dallas! He was such a champ through it all - mostly riding in the baby bjorn or hanging out in his carseat. It was exhausting for both he and I making it work in public, but we both survived!

That weekend Andy & I also went on our first date without Fischer. It was a bit scary- but was so great to have grandparents in town who thankfully texted me plenty of updates! Andy & I went to Billy Bob's where there was a big Crossfit event, and we saw Bob Harper (from the Biggest Loser) and went to the Josh Turner concert....or the first 30 minutes of it.  Concerts really should start before 10:30! Fischer took the two bottles I left for him great, and thankfully went right back to nursing well!

He loves to lay with Dad on the couch at nighttime, usually waking him up from this for the 10:00 feeding proves pretty difficult!

First time in shorts - spring got warm pretty fast here in TX! Thanks to Uncle Luke & Aunt Lace for the cool guitar shorts and shirt!

He is starting to smile more - I sort of caught one here - but they get WAY cuter than this!

Sometimes while I get dressed the only place he'll lay peacefully is on our bed - and he always makes the most serious faces about it!

This week we've started to go on daily walks around the neighborhood. When he stays awake for these he loves to take in all the sights!

Tummy time posing:

Bathtime proves to be a game of roulette - some days he loves it and some days it is simply awful for him. I am still trying to figure out the magic to that...this is a pretty serious face after a pretty happy bath time believe it or not!
