First Easter & First Road Trip

For Fischer's first Easter we also had his first road trip! Usually we spend Easter at Andy's house in Fort Gibson and this was no exception.  This was his first time there and little man got the chance to meet a LOT of his family! The drive can take between 4-5 hours on average, depending on traffic on the way.  We planned it so that I could feed him and then we would stop about halfway to feed, and then as soon as we got there. He was a champ! The drive was so smooth both ways, and he was really patient about being stuck in his carseat for too long!

Saturday morning we had the great-Grandmas over for brunch, when they got to meet Fischer for the first time! Of course they agreed he is perfect! Here is Fischer with Granny (Brannon) - and then with the four Brannon generations.  Thanks to this little guy the family name carries on!

On Easter sunday we went to church and afterwards had the whole family over! Grandma, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, etc. Before church our little man was so happy and excited! Unfortunately the best time for us to get a family photo was just after church before we changed clothes - but Fischer was starving...so we got a real picture of how he felt about it in both situations. :)

Here he is with his Mamaw (Andrews), snuggling with a full belly now!

His cousin Mea was the littlest Brannon until Fischer arrived! She was excited to meet him and get to hold him, too.

After our trip home this tiny man was beyond exhausted and just ready to sleep.  However, his Nana Brannon had bought him a "First Easter" outfit, which he wore after church but I had forgotten the bunny hat at home. So, we had to take a pic to send to her after we got home that night. We know both Grandmas just love to dress this little guy up in silly outfits - which we accept...for now ;).  Andy said it best when he captioned the photo: "Here he is - exhausted & slightly ashamed."  I gotta admit though...he is the cutest bunny I've ever seen!
