Special Talents:
Babbling, hooking your mouth with your thumb, grabbing toys and passing them hand-to-hand, grabbing your feet and toes, trying REALLY hard to sit on your own, & kicking.

Crying:
Look at how happy you are!!! Not really all that much crying anymore...at all. Sometimes you fuss when you don't want to be in your carseat anymore, or when you are getting tired and we don't have you ready for bed yet. You also cry out during the night when you lose your paci...see sleeping for more!

Sleeping:
At night: You go to sleep at your bedtime so easy (most of the time!) Your new trick is to wake up multiple times at night for your paci. Even though you sleep fine for hours without it, all of a sudden you'll want it more than momma wants chocolate. Recently we had to start letting you figure out you can sleep without it, and that's been hard on all of us. We reassure you about every 5 minutes or so, but sometimes you'll be upset for a good 30-45 minutes before you settle back down. Sometimes we have to pick you up and love on you to help. At 4am.
For naps: You. Rock. Or at least you're really starting to. Daycare has helped tremendously I think - but even on the weekends - you want to nap, and you don't want to fuss about it. You usually take one 2 hour nap in the middle of the day with a couple of catnaps on each side lasting about 45-60 minutes. Once we get home we have to figure out if you catnap again or just go to bed super early. We are still working on that one and trying different things to see what you prefer.

Loves:
The exersaucer!!! Totes your best friend right now.  You still playing with those hands - but now also those feet!  You found them this month and are truly fascinated.  You really like to suck on things - most anything really. You love Sophie the giraffe now, who rides with you to and from school every day. You like your light-up book that talks to you, and even want to yank all your activity mat hangers down into your mouth.  At daycare you laugh at a lot of things - the balls, the mirrors, the frog...you are so happy now and can really entertain yourself!

Not so much love:
You've kind of gotten over the initial fear of meeting new people, but I fully anticipate that will return in the next few months once you figure out the separation from mom/dad scariness.  Honestly, this has been such an easy month with you, little bear, I can't think of much you don't enjoy! You'll eventually wear out when we push you to your limits running errands and such...but that's our fault, not yours!

I can't imagine how you get even MORE fun than this - but everyone says that you will. You are perfect for us, baby bear - we can't wait for more adventures!!
