Special Talents:
Blowing raspberries is a pretty happy talent of yours these days. You love sitting up on your own still, and now tucking your little chubby legs up under you to work on crawling! You love to spin around during the night so when we go in to get you the next morning your head is where your feet started! Silly boy. It has now become laughable that you won't roll onto your tummy - simply because you have a special talent of rolling from your back to basically the point of no return and then flipping backwards...stubborn little dude.

Crying:
Not a lot of this going on - but when it does you have sure found your lungs! Quite a few days recently you've been SUPER tired at bedtime....and that makes for some sad times for you.

Sleeping:
At night: You've officially been swaddle-free for a couple of weeks now. I think it still takes you a bit longer to settle down (perhaps due to the fact that you bat your paci out every few minutes...), but generally you fall asleep pretty well most nights.  Your bedtime is around 7, and you sleep until 6:30. Well, recently you have a fondness of 5:30...but we're working on overcoming that. Momma just doesn't want to wake up that early!
For naps: Still bizarre. You take a longer morning nap - usually 8:45-10ish. Then a good nap around lunchtime - 11:45-1:30 or so. Then you have been trying to rally til bedtime. Needless to say, this isn't fun, and you've been really making your teachers and parents scratch our heads. We're trying to "fix" this with adding in a lunch to see if having a full belly will help you rest in the afternoon.  So far we've tried this one day and had great success!

Loves:
Squealing, laughing, saying "dadadadada..." and "heeeeey" - we even think you get that it is a greeting sometimes. People walk in, you say "heeeey." You're cute, tiny. Toys that make noises, especially music. Pears! You love pears. And greek yogurt, and prunes. You'll happily ingest veggies as long as there is some sort of fruit mixed in too. Silly Tiny. We want you to love your veggies and you just haven't signed on full bore yet. Moses & Maddie - you just realized they are here - and you love to watch them play.

Not so much love:
Being over-tired. Boo on that, right? You think so and so do I - but sometimes you try to stay awake too long! Avocadoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkins....all unless mixed with some fruit! You are starting to have a bit of separation anxiety, too - but nothing awful yet. Stranger danger is back, though. With a bottom lip really pushed out when you realize it!

Schedule:
You currently eat 4-5 times/day about every 3-4 hours.  This usually is 6:30, 10, 1:30, 4:30, 7-7:30 (and you aren't really starving, I just nurse you before bed - so sometimes we skip this one altogether).
We are still 100% breastfeeding for milk - but have introduced solids/purees.  We started with just an evening meal in between your afternoon and night feeding for a couple of weeks, then introduced breakfast for a couple more, and very recently - lunch. You don't eat a lot at each meal - just about 2oz of food. I make the majority of your food but have bought a few pouch combos to see what you like before taking the time to make all those veggies/fruits. So right now you eat breakfast after your 10:00 bottle, "lunch" around 2:30-3, and dinner around 6. So far you've done great with both big kid food and milk. You're super cool.
