Special Talents:
Laughing!! Sucking your thumb!! Being a professional hand model, blowing raspberries, drooling, and sitting (assisted) for short periods of time.

Crying:
Only when you are tired - and much less so.  You are becoming more independent, and are pretty happy to play on your mat or in a chair with a toy as long as you can see momma or daddy close by.

Sleeping:
At night you are still sleeping pretty well - you've fairly recently started this "wake up in the middle of the night and talk" trick - but you usually don't get fussy and after a few paci inserts usually fall back asleep.  You go to bed around 8:30 or 9, have a dreamfeed around 10:30, and then stay in bed from about 11:00 - 6:15.  From what I understand, this is pretty fab for a guy your age.  You are even getting better at daytime naps - we noticed a HUGE improvement just past 3 months (so perhaps this should be on next month's update!).  You are starting to consolidate to a couple of longer naps (7:30-9:30 and 2-4:30/5), and take a few catnaps in between. You are also able to sleep more independently, either in the rock-n-play or in your crib.  You still aren't falling asleep "drowsy but awake" - you prefer to be rocked to sleep in someone's arms.  However, if we catch it JUST right, you'll soothe yourself to sleep.

Loves:
Playing with those hands!  You found them this month and are truly fascinated.  Even at 3am...You like tummy time, and are really starting to enjoy reading books and looking at all the pictures.  You are also starting to like toys - especially Mr. G (your stuffed giraffe).  You can grab onto some of them but don't do a great job yet moving them where I can tell you want them to go! You still love paci, and get a bit pepper-like when you don't have that going to sleep most of the time. Sitting up - you want to sit up all the time, on your own if you could! You still love bath time and are now enjoying kicking and those splashes that come along with it. You love to clap, it usually makes you giggle.

Not so much love:
Meeting new people, although you quickly warm up to them (thank goodness!). You have this humongous pout you turn on once you realize the person talking to you is not someone you know and love.  It usually makes that person feel awful...which is sad.  However, you turn it around pretty darn quick and give them a chance!  Still not sold on the carseat, although you'll continue to sleep in it if you've fallen asleep - which is huge in our world. You are also starting to enjoy restaurants substantially less - you don't dislike them...but usually start to get bored if you aren't sitting at the table with us. You are starting to fight to break free of your swaddle...nightly.  We'll see how long it stays with us!
