Maternity Pictures

To be honest, I had always been a bit leery of "maternity" photos - they seemed like pictures you would take for the sake of taking pictures that you would never really use around your home. However, when one of our dear friends (not to mention amazing photographer) Shari Henson offered to take some maternity pictures for us - she assured me her style was more about pictures of us to document this special time and less about "the bump." We could not turn her down - and are so glad we didn't! The pictures really turned out gorgeous, and we can't wait to share them with Fischer when he is older to show him when he was in Mom's tummy.
